Frequently Asked Questions

To sum it up – I do the work, so you can spend time at the table. I create and package custom meals for you that are delicious, wholesome, seasonally fresh and affordable.

Typically, we have a standing “date” – say, every other Tuesday – when I spend several hours in your kitchen, cooking five different entrees and sides. Most people schedule this while they are at work or out running errands, and come home to a refrigerator and freezer full of fresh, custom meals (as well as a sparkling clean kitchen).

Most meals require simple heating to enjoy. The first time we meet, we’ll go through a detailed questionnaire so I can learn your likes, dislikes and dietary restrictions. After that, we’ll communicate via email or phone, and you’ll approve all custom menus before I get to work.

Because I do one or two weeks’ worth of cooking in a single day, personal chef services are more affordable than you might think. Check out my pricing to learn more.

I do all food preparation in your kitchen, package and refrigerate your meals, and clean up. I bring my own cooking equipment and utensils. Typically, five family-sized meals will take around six hours, so most clients have me come on a weekday when they are at work or out running errands.

Frankie’s Table does the planning, grocery shopping, cooking and cleanup, leaving you with five dinner meals of 4-6 portions each. My service fee covers personalized menu consultation and planning, meal preparation and condiments (spices, oils, etc), and cleanup. See services and pricing for more info.

Depending on how frequently I visit your home (weekly, bi-weekly or monthly), the meals will be a combination of refrigerated and frozen. This also varies by the menus we choose (for example, fresh fish dishes should be refrigerated and consumed within a few days).

Yes. Frankie’s Table is a client-based business, designed for busy people who care about eating deliciously and eating well – for the long term. All of my clients are scheduled as a standing cook date on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. Because many of my meals can be frozen, you have flexibility when your schedule or plans change.

No – in fact, most of my clients are busy families who have me come while they are at work or running errands.

Absolutely! That’s why I’m called a personal chef. It’s my job to create custom meals that make you happy and give you more time at the table. I’ve cooked for many adults and children with restricted diets (not to mention, a lot of picky eaters too).

All meals from Frankie’s Table are prepared in your home, not a commercial kitchen. This business model allows me to provide you with custom meals that are as fresh and personalized as it gets. I will work with your schedule to figure out the most convenient time for me to cook in your home. You can also purchase my cooking services as a gift. See “Services and Pricing” for more info.

Lucky you! If you need to cancel a date, I just ask for 3 weeks’ notice so I can fill my time with another client. Because my meals can be frozen, many clients actually like it when I cook for them while on vacation – they come home to a freezer full of delicious food!

I accept clients throughout the greater Seattle area – Edmonds to the North, Kirkland and Redmond to the East, Renton to the South, and all areas in between.
