About Chef Francesco
My name is Chef Francesco, and I come from a family that loves food. My mother is Sicilian, my father is from Rome, and my three sisters and I spent our childhood playing in the kitchen and watching our mother cook.
In college, I studied art and received a master’s degree in architecture from Syracuse University, spending two years in Florence, Italy, feasting on design and good food. I then spent over a decade as an architect in San Francisco, where I was first introduced to more international culinary influences and the sustainable food movement. In San Francisco, I also met my wife, and together we embarked on many a culinary adventure at some of Northern California’s (and the world’s) best restaurants.
In 2005, we moved to Seattle and I began the first of a series of life changes that would lead to Frankie’s Table. First, my son Frankie was born – the namesake behind this business. Next, I decided to leave architecture and pursue a lifelong dream of culinary school. And while attending Seattle Culinary Academy, our daughter Emilia was born, adding a new level of joy – and a new level of craziness — as my wife and I struggled to balance work, school, parenthood… and maybe a family meal. I realized I wasn’t alone in my challenges – many of my friends and neighbors were too busy, and too stressed, for good meals and weekday “table time.”
Thus, the genesis for Frankie’s Table. I created this Seattle Personal Chef business to help busy people like me who care about eating deliciously and eating well. I do the work, so you can spend time at the table, with your loved ones or just a quiet moment of peace. I create and package custom meals for you that are delicious, wholesome, seasonally fresh and affordable.
